We need your help!

Hey Everyone,

After the UK Championships 2019, the UKCA came to the sad conclusion that the venue that we have held UKC in for 5 out of the last 6 years, is too small to accommodate the ever-growing UK cubing scene. It was not ideal, and we want to improve for this year. However, finding an appropriate venue is difficult so we’re reaching out to all of you guys if you have any suggestions!

Do you know an appropriate venue that we could hold the UK Championships 2020?

Here are a couple of the essential criteria needed for the venue:

At least 1000 square meters - we need a big venue!

Less than £10,000 for the 3 days, preferably more like £6,000.

At least 500 chairs and lots of tables - everyone needs a place to sit down!

Decent hotel options nearby, preferably at least 1 large chain hotel.

Accessible for those coming by car and train - we ideally want a place in central UK, so it is not too far from anyone!

If you have a venue in mind then please get in contact with the UKCA through email or Facebook, which are available in the “Contact us” page on the website. Please make sure that you’ve researched the venue sufficiently, so we know it fills the above criteria. The competition will be held in October, and will be 3 days - Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The competitor that finds a venue for the UK Championships 2020 will receive full and free registration to competition!
