COVID-19 Situation Update (2020-06-05)

Hey Everyone,

Despite the situation in the UK improving, the UKCA (with backing from the WCA Board), have decided it will not be appropriate to host UK competitions over the summer period. Due the nature of competitions, and the high concentration of people we would have in venues, the UKCA has decided it would be irresponsible and too risky.

The UKCA changes are as follows:

British Blind Off - Manchester 2020 is CANCELLED.

Liverpool Open 2020 is CANCELLED.

London Open 2020 is CANCELLED.

Bristol Open 2020, which is scheduled to take to place in late September is currently still planned to go ahead, but we’re aware there is a possibility that competitions in Autumn may also need to be cancelled.
